Hi guys

I have a jailbroken/unlocked 1.1.4 iphone using T-mobile. On my old moble I could surf the web and it would only ever cost a maximum of £1 per day.

I was wondering whether I could get the same deal using my sim card in the iphone. I am on PAYG.

I managed to get the EDGE/GPRS(not wifi)? to work on the iphone to get onto the net but it cost me more than a pound.

Is this what the T-Zones hack is or is that only for folk in America?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

cheers

Hey

I didn't really want to phone because I would probably have to tell them I have an iPhone and they'll probably just hang up.

I would really like to get it working. As I said, I have put the settings in and I connected to google via edge/GPRS(which is it?) but it cost like 10p for about 10seconds.

With my old phone it just took the £1 off straight away and it would never cost anymore than that for the day.

There's a lot of talk about the t-zones but I've a feeling it's only for the US.

Can anyone help??????

Call T-Mobile. It's not like you hacked their phone onto another network. If you had a BlackBerry 8110 from T-mo and using it on O2, then calling T-mo would be a problem.

EDIT: I should mention that they won't support iPhones. Just ask them for the network settings for the 1 pound internet

T-Mobile UK Settings

Hi Buddyrich1,
I also am on contract with T-Mobile Uk ,got sick of the battery life on my N95 so sold it and bought an unlocked new iphone in New York last week.
Absolutely delighted with the phone but am at a loss to know how/where the GPRS setting are put in the phone.
Is it in the VPN folder settings which is in the "Network" folder.
Not sure what settings goes into the "L2TP" folder and the "PPTP" folder which is the sub folder of the VPN.
Any help would be appreciated.
