iPhone T-Mobile Unlocked 6+

T-Mobile has unlocked my 6+ today and I got the email telling me to restore in iTunes. I can't do that or I will lose my JB on 8.1.2.

I remember seeing that there is a way to enable an AT&T sim without doing a restore beginning with 8.0 or so. Is that correct?

I guess I just had to wait a while longer.

I just inserted my AT&T sim and it prompted me to enter my iCloud email and password. I did and the phone activated using the AT&T sim. No need to do any tricks to get it to activate.

Yeah when they unlock it u don't have to restore. It's just if u wanna see that "congratulations" box on iTunes.
