t-mobile without hacking and with apps.

ok guys. i just got a new iphone seal from at&t. i did the activation though itunes and everything work find.

Now the crazy thing is that i remove the att sim from the phone and insert a tmobile sim without turning off the phone and everything works except for edge. so i change the edge setting to wap.voicestream.com and no luck with edge. (remember, this is a new lock iphone not unlock direct from att)

Is this crazy or what? to make it even crazier, i restore my phone on itunes, went through the same process and tmobile sim still worked.
It does tell me (different sim message) when i restart my phone but i wait 10 second and tmobile sim still work.

anybody ever try this?

ok guys. i got everything working now. 1 small little problem. i tunes would not let me load anything to my phone because it's telling me i have a invalid sim.

Is there a way to make itunes think i have att instead of tmobile.
the reason i don't want to unlock it is because if i do my mail won't work and youtube won't work. i had a unlock phone and i was never able to make mail and yahoo to work. thanks
