That's kinda cool. Did it actually go into print? The only reason I ask is because I am a textile silk screen printer (print t-shirts (summer job)) and I can't think that the little splotches all over (do they roll over the shoulder too?) could be done without it being hardcore professional. We have a couple large accounts (between 9-13k shirts in an order), and I would have to think that would take some serious equipment besides a normal (semi)automatic gauntlet. The arm logo and normal text are easy, but the overall look is still really cool.

the splotches, etc. could be done pretty easily, but you'd probably want to use a belt or "flatbed" press. A rotary press (as I'm sure you know) is rather limited in the area it can cover.

You couldn't really do the over the shoulder thing with a rotary press, and I'm dubious about the chances of getting it done with a flatbed. For that, you'd really want to do piece-work i.e. print the fabric and then assemble the shirt. Not that expensive to have done overseas, but a definite hassle (language barrier, customs, etc.) and not really appropriate for a run as small as this one is likely to be. By "small" I mean less than a few thousand pieces...

if it wins, i have the oppurtunity to make a larg version of the logos and splotches etc...
but yeah the over the shoulder would be a problem because therealblackwallstreet gets its t-shirts made at a place called Heroics Clothing,
and i dont think their screening could handle it.
id have to change the design a bit

I'm loving it (altough I wouldn't wear it, but that's not what you asked :) ), but I find the L a bit strange, The L looks like a f so I read Five for everything, Die for nothing, which offcourse makes no sense.
Am I the only one who read this at first sight?

Looks very trendy and cool.
The younger generation will love it as did so.
Are you going to paint or print it in the T-Shirt?

it won, but im not gonna get it into production.
Dj Skee went with his own design.
