T-zones Hack for iPhone

I have heard rumors that there is an iPhone T-zones hack that allows T-Mobile customers with unlocked iPhones to get a data plan for around $6 a month, which is much cheaper than their usual rate. Is there any truth to this? If so, where can I find more information? By the way, I need it to be compatible with an unlocked iPhone 3GS running the 3.0 operating system.

This was true about a year ago. Since then, T-Mobile took away the $6.99 T-Zones unlimited internet option.

I still have the $5.99 Tzones on my T-mobile SIM and even though its not offered, you can still add it. Read here.
Depending on your area, with 5 bars EDGE is actually not that bad. I've switched to the devil incarnate AT&T for the 3GS and 3G is awesome. It'll be even more awesome when AT&T doubles it to 7.2Mbps.

9.99 for edge way better when you have high speed at home versus the 29 for the unlimited thats on the iphone.
