I remember seeing this unlock tool or something like that on installer.app entitled "T-Zone hacK" or something like that. Anyways now that I've decided I'm going to sign up for T-zones, I can't seem to find this tool for installation on installer.app. Where is it? T-zones works on 1.1.1 right? I've only been able to find a guide for T-Zones on 1.0.2. Will T-Zones work on a pre-paid sim card from T-Mobile?

The instructions to get it in the installer are listed under "installer method" here.
That works for me with 1.1.1 firmware.

For T-mobile prepaid, might have to blank out the username & password in "Edge" settings, (the tzone hack will automatically set the APN for you). Again, for prepaid, you're limited to the websites listed in this thread. It's not bad for something totally free and doesn't count against your minutes.

Wait, so let me get this straight...I can get T-Zones for free, but on those limited sites. So I wouldn't gain anything by paying T-Mobile the $6/month price that they charge for T-Zones? If I had a contract w/T-Mobile instead of prepaid, would that let me get unlimited internet and e-mail on the iPhone using T-Zones? (any website would work?)

Yes, this way, you would be able to use email, youtube, google map, & any website would work with tzone.
