T1i vs T2i: I don't care about video

I have a Rebel XT which I have used for years, so I'm thinking about upgrading.

I only really care about still photography, so I was wondering, for still photography is the T2i that much better than the T1i? (I know there are huge video improvements on the T2i).
What do people who have experienced both cameras think?

Well, would prefer to stick with Canon, and I don't have an unlimited budget but I am not married to the Rebel line or anything.

What's your reason for wanting to upgrade? Other than megapixels and video, you're not getting much more from the T2i, much less than T1i. (The T2i has a higher ISO range and presumably better processing.)

Also, what is your budget?
