Table shifts :O!

Im using photoshop to create my template, then saving to HTML and images and transferring into dreamweaver, i then take sections of the images out that i want to insert text and images into etc, but when i delete the images for some of them the table becomes completely unbalanced how can i avoid this or what other method is suitable!

use a transparent gif and resize that to be the size you need it to be.

Also, what you're doing is archaic in terms of web design, you might want to try learning some CSS if you're going to be doing anything somewhat serious.
