Hi, the tablet you link to is a 6x8. That's the area in the middle, the active area. From that it's pretty easy to see what the size is. And don't worry about the weight, I guarantee it won't give you a hernia moving it around.

If you have a widescreen display, I'd suggest a widescreen aspect ratio tablet as well. It makes a pretty big difference in accuracy.

Thanks everyone about the info, especially radiantm3 because I do use widescreen only LCDs and so this was a concern.
