Tabs with Safari on iPad 5.0

I don't like using tabs with safari on my MBP or any computer for that matter. Well ... I installed iOS 5 on my iPad and safari uses tabs. Is there a way to switch back to the old way of viewing open safari windows? I personally prefer the method used on iPhone with iOS 5.

I've tried everything I could find. The answer is no. Also, expect a lot of flames from people who love having a dated desktop hold-over forced into their mobile/tablet user experience.

I'm hoping someone makes a browser app that's identical to the old Safari. Know of one?
