I've got lots of movies made on my 3Gs and to free up space I decided to update and NOT copy back via iPhotos. I now have those movies on my iMac HD but they're called img files. Can I rename them? Can I put them
in folders? Any general assistance on keeping all these vids neat and tidy would be appreciated. Thanks.

Anyone, am I in wrong thread

I only just got my first 3GS, and just shot my first video with it.

When I uploaded it to Windows, it was a .mov file (ie a Quicktime video). You could try changing the extension to that.

Don't get mad, but are they definitely videos, not photos?

When I sync my iphone with my imac, iphoto opens by default - thats why I mentioned iphoto.
Still don't know the best way of managing and naming movies made on iphone:confused:

I don't have a mac so I can't see this for myself. Try moving them to a new folder and renaming them with the .mov extension.

What happens when you try to play them at the moment?
