When I use MetaX to tag TV shows, everything looks great in iTunes and it organizes it just how I would imagine it would. However, when I open Front Row (or I would imagine, AppleTV) every season is split up into different 'shows' but without any textual indication of what season it is.

For example: I tagged every episode of season 3 of Seinfeld as SHOW: Seinfeld SEASON: 3, but when it I see it in Front Row, select TV SHOWS from the main menu, I just see two identical options of "Seinfeld". The only way i can tell which season it is it to select it and look at the album artwork on the left hand side.

Is this how it is on your machine? Do you instead name the SHOW: Seinfeld Season 3 so that you don't have to select it to find what you're looking for?

Thanks!

This is normal behavior. Tiger use to put all the seasons under the show name. Leopard now keeps the shows separate.

I do not like this as well and am hoping it changes with the next update. It makes it very hard to use. In mine, I have 8 seasons of 1 show listed and they are not in any particular order (i.e. season 2 is the 5 season listed).

Do you know if the formatting is the same with episodes actually purchased from iTunes? It is really annoying. I wouldn't even mind if the seasons were seperated in iTunes, but when I pull it up in Front Row I shouldn't have 5 "Sienfelds" they should atleast say what season they are.

Yes, they are the same no matter where you get the shows. This was either a poor decision or a bug. I hope they fix it soon.
