not a dev, but i gotta think that is near impossible to find. rather just patch and put out a .1 when they see the jb.
If the translation of TaiG's letter is accurate, it sounds like their program has code containing the necessities for the 8.2 jailbreak. Remember, Apple is a huge company, which means they have a very large security team which is paid to find and fix iOS vulnerabilities. That being said, maybe TaiG obfuscated the code, or the translation is incorrect and instead is saying that they have found exploits but held them out of the current jailbreak.

Close.. really close.

To me, this sounds like TaiG found vulnerabilities that created the 8.1.1 jailbreak. Those are also in 8.2 beta, which will likely be closed by Apple when 8.2 is released.

However, it sounds like they may have found other exploits in 8.2 that they did not use. So they have those pretty much locked and loaded for when 8.2 is released.

So it sounds like TaiG is ahead of the game, but is letting everybody know they are ahead of the game. Downside to this is that Apple will look deeper into their code to see what they can fix prior to 8.2. What will make it harder for Apple, is that they are now having to find something they don't know is or isn't broken.

In short, the game is on again.

BL.

This new jail breaking fever has been the best we've had. Remember iOS 7 seemed to take forever to jailbreak and then was only quite short lived, updates wise. The Chinese are taking it to apple this time around, let's hope it continues!!!

Could apple now take longer to interogate, rectify and QA the iOS8.2 code before it's released for update.

1. unjailbroken consumers should get a more secure iOS :)
2. jailbreaks exploits will become a countdown against the next update :(

By this theory, I reckon that iOS8.2.2 will be the last before iOS 9 with a new strategy adopted by apple.

Just think, if the Chinese are this good at hacking iOS, imagine the damage they could do to the country if they wanted to hehe.

I'm sitting in Beijing as I write this... hope they don't break down my door. LOL
