Take 2 Streamed No blue Dots?

When i stream from iTunes on my iMac no blue dots indicating new content are displayed.

I find this annoying as I'm unable to find new podcasts etc when streaming from iTunes.
The new synced content still shows up with the blue dot markers.

Am i doing something wrong-or is this the way apple TV take 2 now does it?

I have blue dots on my streaming content, but I have found that the AppleTV 2.0 is not incrementing the play count properly. It will remove the blue dot in my iTunes library, but the play count stays at 0. This causes files I have already listened to/viewed to be synced to my iPhone, which makes the smart syncing options completely worthless at this point for that device.
