So my display is messed up and I’m getting it replaced through the Apple care replacement service. I have a dbrand skin on the back of it (of course to protect it from scratches and such) I haven’t taken one off and it’s been on it since I bought it twoish years ago. Should I take it off before sending it in or will they even care if they receive it with it on? I have no intention of trying to use it again. Thanks!

As long as the skin doesn’t cover up the screws, I would leave it as is. The skin may get damaged but, it can easily be replaced.
Thanks! They are sending me a completely new iPad in exchange for this one that I have to send in with the skin I do not anticipate getting it back.

Feel free to leave it on the device.

Probably a hassle to get other people’s decorations off the devices but I don’t think you’ll get into trouble for it.
