anybody been able to take a picture from within the facebook app? when i choose to upload a picture it gives you the option to either upload an existing picture on your iphone or take one with the camera. whenever i elect to take one with the camera, the camera app starts and then freezes. it gets stuck before the camera lens opens on the screen...so it shows the closed lens.

anybody else experience something like this? btw, i have a 3GS.

Probably something to do with the upgraded camera app on the 3Gs. Just wait for an update to facebook, I would imagine its coming soon.

yea, i'm thinking it's something to do with the new camera app and facebook having some compatibility issues with it.

i'll just have to wait...thanks!

I just uploaded an existing photo just fine.

So, take a photo with the photo app, then fire up facebook and upload the photo by choosing exisiting photo. Worked just fine for me.

Same problem for me when I try to take the pic within the FB app. (I'm also on a 3GS.)

I hope they fix it soon, this is one of the features I was looking forward to using!

Another forum is reporting that the new Facebook 3.0 app should be hitting later on this month. Keeping my fingers crossed!
