Takes forever to charge 5s, quick draining battery

My iPhone 5s's battery is charging right now and it's taken an hour to go from dead to 16%, (sometimes it drops while charging), and it drains quickly, even when doing something like streaming Spotify over LTE. Is thid normal battery drainage or is there something else going on?

A draining battery can happen when charging if you are running your phone as say GPS. But during music streaming is unusual.

Plus older Bluetooth chips can drane a battery. So turn off Bluetooth when not needed.

Try charging it in Airplane mode to see if this makes a significant difference. If not could be the battery....?

Try to turn off mobile data while charging.
