Resolved Taking iPhone 4 Black in for replacement. Will they give me a white iP4 if I ask?

Hello,
Well, as the question states I am wondering if I ask for it, is the Apple Store allowed to give me a white iPhone 4?
My black one has had a few issues from randomly dropping signal (If I just set it on my desk, with no case, it will cycle through 5 bars down to 0, say no service and repeat) as well as a few battery and freezing issues.
If I bring it in for a replacement, do you think they would give me a white model if I asked? Or does Apple Policy not allow for this type of thing, and give you the same colour you had? (I'm not talking about a new phone, just if they have any white replacement phones)

Its against company policy but you can try anyway.

Nope. My son hoped for this when his home button broke a couple weeks ago. Like-for-like exchange.

It's an understandable policy, as the world is filled with unscrupulous, amoral creeps who would find a way to damage their product to get something different.
