Taking my iMac Places

Literally my iMac is taking me places! My peers think its incredible and it brings out my full potential! Just a quick question though? I'm looking to take my iMac around (by car) travelling to different places like my cottage, school and other places...I've already taken it to school for a presentation and i swear it got me 100% on its own (by the way, at the end of the presentation they asked more about the computer rather than my actual topic, It felt great!) I took it in the original box, but it seemed so hard on the box! I've heard all about the iLugger and i've been on the website and it looks like a great product but is it actually worth the money? If I were to get it, I would want it to last the duration of the life of the iMac... If anyone has had any experience with it that would be great (or an advice).

I have an iLugger for my 17" iMac and can confirm that it's a fantastic case. Nicely protective, well built, holds what you need in terms of Mac, KB, mouse, and a few (small) accessories, but won't hold much in the way of anything else.

How is the material? Is it durable because the iMac is heavy when your lifting it, so it would really be stretching the fabric I assume?

My iMac box works fine if you carry it instead of using the handle. Using the handle is what puts wear and tear on the box. But if that still isn't good enough for you, go for the iLugger.

It's very heavy-duty fabric. Mine's almost a year old, has been used a few dozen times (I used it extensively for a while, then got a MacBook Pro and so stopped using it as much), and shows no signs of wear and tear.

Nope - it has a soft fabric there - no danger to the screen!

You'll be inclined to buy a BT keyboard/mouse if you don't have them already, as they're easier to store and cooler to see when you remove it and just plug in the power cord.
