I teach high school, and one of my juniors and her mother gave me a gift yesterday. It was a brand new 64GB 3G iPad! (...and no, there was no funny business!)

Not bad for an end of the year gift, huh? Pretty awesome people.

Now....I should probably figure out how I can use it in class. I teach vocal music and theatre. Ideas?

ha...no funny business, and not private school. in 14 years of teaching, i've never seen anything like this.

Mental illness? That's not right to be getting a gift like that from a pupil/parent. I'm guessing you have already declared it to your line manager or even your professional body? There could be some nasty backlash ahead if you're not super careful. Just sayin'.

nahh....they're just really supportive of our program and were pissed when my ipod touch was stolen earlier this year.
