iPad Pro Talk me out of it or convince me

I have a 2018 12.9 iPad Pro. Have the 2nd gen pencil. 64gb WiFi. Included 18 months of AppleCare

I never use it. Never would have thought so. But it literally sits there until the battery dies. I charge it up and repeat.

It just kills me to sell it. I’m thinking of offering a trade for 3 HomePods. I love the convenience of them. Darn good sound in a small package. Great for everyday listening

If figure HomePods run for $200 regular basis. And $600 for the iPad is fair. Would include 2 cases. One nice and one cheap.

What do you usually need a computer for? You could use the iPad to take over a few of those needs.

How often do you listen to music ? If you don’t use your iPad Pro at all Why did you spend $1,000 on it ?

I personally owned a HomePod. And grabbed two Sonos Ones for the same Price as 1 HomePod. I returned the HomePod and the Two White Sonos Ones. At opposite ends of the Living Room. Fill the room with excellent sound.

Sell it! 6 months on and you never use it means you don’t actually need it.
Sell and grab those homepods that you want.
Sell now when there’s still heaps of demand (ppl who are not impress with 2020 model and looking for bargain 2018)

I love my Homepods, so if I was presented with a similar situation I would probably do the same thing. For comparison, I use my iPad lightly (definitely not as much as I should for the price I paid for it), but I use my Homepods everyday.

I’m not very big on talking people into stuff or out of stuff and prefer everybody just make their own decisions.

You have stated pretty clearly that you don’t need the device and have no use for it. In that situation I’d consider a sale rather than trying to invent a use case.

Get the Homepods you enjoy and call it a day. Best success.

I agree with you guys. I should sell it and get the HomePods. It just kills me to do it. I hate getting rid of Apple toys. 😂
