I haven't noticed this in writeups, but when an incoming call is received (if the phone is asleep or not) there are now two buttons: ignore or answer. This is a change from before, where we had to slide to answer.
This is great because it seemed that, especially in the warmer months, the slide to answer would not slide. That was super annoying.
