Whenever I search on the AppStore, I find these 2 apps. Does anybody know what the difference is?

Tapatalk Pro by Tapatalk

I use the second one at the moment and wanted to pay to get rid of the adverts but then the pro version seems to be cheaper than the IAP and also seems to have the developer name registered as Tapatalk. I'm a it confused.

Why the confusion?
Both are Tapatalk apps, correct?
The Pro version is stripped down, supposedly to remove features that advanced users may not need, and you purchase the Pro app.
Some of that might mean that adverts are not presented --- but wouldn't that make a registered tapatalk user, who is in the system for advert support from Tapatalk, but using Tapatalk Pro doesn't provide adverts (?)
Seems counter-productive if someone is paying for the Tapatalk service.

If you are part of a tapatalk group/community (which you would know when you pay for that service, I would think), then you should get some answers if you contact your community.
