Hello everyone. I just installed windows on my new c2d MBP and was wondering if there is any way to activate the tapping feature on the trackpad. So far I've found nothing so please tell me if there is a way you could do that. I really hate clicking all the time.

I haven't found any way (yet) to do this either.

The issue is the drivers. Until Apple (or whomever) writes the appropriate drivers (to be loaded via Boot Camp Assistant) we will be stuck. Perhaps by v1.1.??

Thank God they added scrolling support in 1.1.2 otherwise that would have been a real pain as well. I just wish they'd also add the tapping support soon.

How do you right click in Windows?...and also does anyone else have the problem with a MacBook Pro C2D that when you connect a mouse it works until you connect the power adapter...then the mouse just isn't recognised anymore?

Are there Trackpad settings inside windows where i can enable scrolling etc?

Right click by using two fingers on the track pad and then (keeping the fingers down) perform a mouse click or use the Right Apple key and a mouse click. I don't use scrolling but have seen some other notes about it.

I can't believe this is missing. Tapping is supported on other laptops running windows.

It's not missing. you need to go to system preferences and activate it. to right click hold the ctrl key and click like usual.

regarding the mouse and power issue, i have never heard of such a problem and since i have a mouse in right now and power, no it is is not something that is normal.
