Morning All,

Any one know if there is a was to make the Taptic effects kick in when using the keyboard to type?

I can't find any setting for this.

Thanks

i googled it and couldn't find any 3rd party apps that didn't require a jail break :(

I've been thinking about this as well. Would be nice. Could be an accessibility setting.

iPhones have never had this feature and I don't see them implementing it because of greater power consumption, but hell, maybe they will someday.

They are adding small Taptic feedback all over iOS (wheel menu, Notification Center). This would just be expanding on that. And the Taptic Engine is more subtle than the old vibration motor.

Sure, but a vibration for each letter you type would require much greater use of the Taptic Engine than general phone use.

That we don't really know. But sure it could. I don't know how efficient the Taptic Engine is.
