Target Disk Mode on window keyboard

Hi,

I have just bought the Mac Mini Server with wireless keyboard & Mouse, and not turned on yet.

I was wondering if it is possible to boot it straight into target disk mode when firing it up for the "first time" OR pairing needs to occur in normal mode to register the keyboard & mouse ..... ?

if a no go then looks like I might have to connect standard windows keyboard...

Which keys would i have to press to go into target mode while using a window keyboard? still T?

At the End how do I cleanly shut down the mac Mini?

Its possible to start it up the first time in TDM. Its still just "T". To shut down the Mini, eject its drive and press the power button.
