Whoa! After only 4 tries, the highest I have been able to get is 94,331! You must have lightning fast fingers! Fun game though, great for when you have a few extra minutes to spare.

It actually is possible to get much higher. I have a friend who has broke the 2 million mark. The key is to get a huge combo without losing it by hitting a wrong color target or missing a red one.

But just last night I submitted an update to the app store, global high scores are coming!

Since you seem to be involved in the development of the game, I have a couple of questions:
-does it register two simultaneous taps? On numerous occasions it seemed to not register when I hit two red targets at the same moment
-Is there a bug where sometimes it just stops giving 1ups? Some games I would (literally) get 3-4 1ups, then nothing else.

Yes it's addicting and even frustrating when the targets are popping up overlaid (p.e. a blue over a red) so there is only a very small area you can tap on (chances are huge to miss it). My high score is 248.813 and I am not able to beat it since two weeks. Tried it about 5-10 min/day (not every day) but I think I'll give up soon.

Put the iPhone on a soft surface in landscape mode and use both hands. Try to hit the device not too hard.

Yes, I am the developer. The game is multitouch enabled so it does register simultaneous taps. As for the 1ups, they are given out at random but based on how many red targets you have hit. So if you just got a one up it is very unlikely to get another one soon, but after you have hit 25 or so red targets then the odds are in your favor.

Sometimes, the 1ups would just stop coming, literally. DOesn't matter how many reds I hit. I've had games like this where I still scored 400,000 so it's not because I didn't hit enough reds.

Also, what triggers the reds to start appearing faster?

My highscore (well, my bf's) is about 85000... First time he played

I don't get over 60000... what a shame. I hate those overlayers, especially when it's a 1-up.

Bug found

Hi Jcardy,

First off, I love the new version and being able to submit global scores, but I think I definitely found a bug.

I'm actually a senior computer science student so I must make some sense :). I think I've figured out your game and I think the bug comes in if you let a 1up go by without hitting it. Even though the 1up goes by and off the screen, I don't think it gets destroyed. It is still floating across infinitely. You've made it impossible for 2 1ups to be on the screen at the same time so at this point no more 1ups can come. The speed that the red targets also depend on how many 1up lives you have, so if you don't have anymore 1ups coming then it will delay the fast red targets making it easier to higher scores.

As you can see from the global high score list I've tested this and hence, how I currently have the highest score. 2,218,137.

Well I took a look and it appears the 1-Up system does have a bug, apparently if you miss a one up you won't get another one for a very long time...but the speed of the targets is based on score so you must have gotten two million on your own terms :) I'll fix that and submit an update.

Thanks for the update! Could you possible reset the global scores now since most of those ridiculously high scores were achieved with that WiFi bug
