So I've been waiting and waiting for Taskbar Notifier version 0.9 for 1.1.3 to come to installer, and this morning it finally came (from iClarified source, not the normal source it's on). Anyway, I installed it, and it didn't work. I sent myself an email to test it, and also did the code where AT&T texts you to show how many text messages you have left, and neither showed their respective icons in the status bar. Not only that, but the program made any and all sound on my phone stop working! I didn't notice it until I got a phone call. The phone vibrated, but there was no ringtone, then when I answered it, I couldn't hear the person on the other end of the line (but I later confirmed that they could hear me). Well, I restarted my phone, and that didn't work, so I uninstalled Taskbar Notifier, and then restarted my phone, and now my sound is back. Has anyone been able to get the installer package of Taskbar Notifier v 0.9 for 1.1.3 to work?

It seems that they removed taskbar notifier 0.9 from the iClarified source, so maybe there is a problem with it.

I have put the new version on both my iphones and both work perfectly and have not caused any sound/ringtones issues - I guess its just one of those things!

i also installed this morning and have had no issues. all icons are working on taskbar and have had no sound / anything else issues

Update

So yesterday, a new version of taskbar notifier showed up in installer. I tried it out, and while my sound still works, the new version just doesn't seem to work at all. I tried it out with email and texts, and I don't get either of the icons in my status bar. About an hour later, an even newer version came out, and I updated to it hoping it would contain the fix that I'm looking for, but it didn't work either. Has anyone got this new version working? I'm on 1.1.3 jailbroken with ZiPhone.

Works fine for me on jailbroken and unlocked 1.1.4. In fact, I'd completely forgotten to reinstall it - I always forget that those icons aren't standard Apple features.

Have you definitely done a full restart of the phone as this is required before the icons will start to appear?

Yeah, I've completely restarted the phone after installing. I've tried restarting a few times and still nothing.
