Hey guys I am a beginner programmer, but have yet to figure out how to send tcp/ip codes out the iphone to an assigned ip address. Such as the Tivo Remote programs. Is there a tutorial on this?

I have not yet come across an iPhone specific tutorial but if you search for tutorials on BSD sockets that should get you started.

There is sample code for using bonjour on apples site but i found using the BSD socket route much easier if you are communicating with devices such as windows pcs.

To be honest mate network programming is way beyond the ability of a beginner programmer, using BSD sockets will require a decent knowledge of C and Bonjour is just plain weird unless you know it
