With the speculation of whether a DX10 capable GPU will find its way into the MBP in June-July, I found a reference somewhere to how much power the X2600 is expected to pull. I can't find the source again, but I think it said between 60ish to 90ish watts.

So, my question is, how much power does the Mobility X1600 in the MBP now pull? I tried to find some info by googling, but was unable to find it.

90W sounds pretty high to me.

I would think that we should be able to predict which GPU will be in the Santa Rosa MBP by their TDP's, which will probably be similar to the X1600's.

Now these aren't Mobility versions, hope they get released soon, but it says here that the X2600 comes in many different versions (RV630)

The GDDR4 version has a TDP of between 121 and 128 Watts for 256 and 512 versions.

GDDR3 version's TDP is supposed to be under 93 Watts for 256 MB

and the GDDR2 version's TDP is under 75 Watts for either 256 or 512 MB.

There are a few other versions, but no TDP is given.

Then there are the X2300 RV610 versions, but no TDP is given for them either.

It seems likely that a mobility version of one of these processors will find its way into the new MBP, so my original question remains, what is the TDP of the Mobility X1600 series? And for comparison, how about the non-mobility X1600 series?

I can't find the information anywhere...
