TDU on Imac

A little bump, but perhaps you're still interested... On my MBP (Specs in Sig), TDU runs terrible. About 1/2 the frame rate of Halo 2. Spec wise we are talking TDU ---> 640x480, everything low, max 19fps w/ 8-12 average. Note I get ~ these same frame rates at higher res all low, or low res w/ medium. W/ Everything high, 2-4fps.
Halo 2 ---> ~28-40 FPS all settings Medium-High, 1280x800.
This is on Windows Vista Ultimate, so performance may be slightly better on XP? There are other users on the iMac getting playable performance, yet still not "good" (50+ fps)
There are numerous "hacks" (Changing file names, installing new graphics drivers, installing the desktop drivers on the Mobility card etc.) to help get better fps, yet they are not working for me, or I am not doing them right?
