Hello Everyone,

Does anyone in here use TeamViewer? I recently got it (version 10), but it's somewhat unusable compared to RDP.

Does anyone know how to make it a "true" full-screen experience for example?

Thanks!

I use TeamViewer (free version) every day to connect to a Windows and to an Ubuntu PC. In both cases I can use the computer as if I'm sitting in front of it, and I can make the view full-screen in both cases too. I find it much more usable than RDP because all you need to do is install the client on both computers, meaning the setup is all done for you.

I've become the designated IT support guy for my 80 year old dad, who's got a 2009 iMac and a 2015 MacBookPro.
(I'm just 52 myself).
We live 35 miles apart, too far for quick drive over when some issue arises, and I've done the iPhone facetime thing 3-4 times now, so time for a simpler solution.

Seems teamviewer is a good solution from what I've read here....thx for this thread and others.

I've got this on my dad's Mac laptop and it's perfect for me to be the family IT guy for him.

Saves a 60 minute drive, and simply works like I'm there in person.
