Since I've had my iMac (early January), I've been having problems with it. However, because of school, I was unwilling to take my computer to the Genius Bar until the semester had ended. Anyways, once the iMac was repaired, I was pleased. I looked over the front of the computer (where I figured damage would be) and saw nothing wrong. It's been a little over two months, I believe, and moved my iMac from my desk (where the back faces the wall) to a different table (where the back is visible). Anyways, I just happened to notice a deep scratch on the back and several deep nicks. They're all located along the back edge of the right side (sorry if that's hard to understand). Anyways, I thought it over and I've come to the conclusion that it must've been caused by the tech at Apple because 1. I baby my computer since it's so expensive, 2. whenever I've moved it, I pick it up from the bottom and 3. I've never touched that area of the computer because I haven't had any reason to (it's above the disk drive).
It definitely looks like it was caused by a tool of some sort and someone who wasn't very careful operating it.
Is there anything I can do to have it fixed? Fixed, for real...
Yes, the damage isn't major but it just ticks me off that I spend all this money on something and because it doesn't come fully functional, I have to have it repaired. And when I do, some idiot treats it like trash.
