I've noticed that while running my MBP I almost never hear my fans kick in. According to SMC fan control, I have had the temp up at 75*C, and the fans stay around 2000 rpm, and never go up. The higher temps are not sustained and they quickly fall back to about 50*C where it seems to stay most of the time. Is there something that I should be worried about, or should I check this with a different program?

I had the same problem with macbook black. Took it to the apple store and they said that the fans do have defects and kick in when not needed. Yet because I was still under warranty they were going to change it but I decided to get another macbook instead:apple:
