Hey guys, running an audio upsampling app on my Macbook pro M2 basically 8 hours a day. The temperature is constant 100 degree Celsius or 212 degree f is this ok for the MacBook pro in the long run ?

thanks

The OP in that post is unfortunately misinformed when it comes to acceptable temperatures for modern CPUs. Large manufacturers like Intel and AMD define 105 C as the top safe operating temperature of their silicon. Apple specifically has been maintaining peak operating temperatures of 100C since at least 2014, and they are known as one of the most reliable computer brands out there.

Should be fine. Even youtuber stress testing put the cpus up to 100-105*c lol, if anything all it'll do its either:
1. downclock the CPU/GPU to avoid more heat build up
2. ramp up the fans to cool off the excess heat.
3. combination of both.
