idle CPU: 55 - 62 celcius
gaming CPU: 80-86 celcius

Anecdotally, this is definitely the coolest (in both senses of the word) laptop I've ever owned. I have been amazed at the low temperatures. I think part of it is that I've never had an aluminum body laptop before, which is automatically more cool to the touch than plastic.
Curious to see what the temps are on the i7 after doing some heavy Handbrake encoding, which uses all of the hyperhtreaded cores at max capacity...
