I found this searching on the net. Is this the right command for MacBook Air and can it be used on iMac also. Both are on Sonoma. MacBook Air 15" M2 and iMac M3. I don't know terminal at all.

pmset -g | grep hibernatemode

That will check hibernatemode which is just one of the parameters for sleeping. Do pmset -g and get to see the others. man pmset will give you some basic (but possibly confusing) ideas about each setting.

Thank you! My last OS I was using was Catalina and I'm not technical. Did a further search and Apple took out the sleep wake schedule for some reason. LOL.. which lead me to this thing and I entered it on my iMac and nothing comes up. Just the line to enter it again and nothing comes up. I wonder why Apple did that.

Apart from general interest, do you have a problem you are trying to solve?

And run pmset -g both with power connected and when running on battery.

Just general interest. I don't think I want to mess with this stuff. Plus learning Apple took out the schedule on the iMac that used to be there. I appreciate your tip to help me get the information in Terminal. :)
