Terminal Issue- not working?

Hi,

Im a new Mac user and seems like which ever command I put in even the simplest I get a message saying :SyntaxError : Invalid Syntax

Whats the fix for this?

Seems to be a Python error rather than Terminal or at least every hit in that quick Google search comes up with that as the cause. We are going to need more details as to what you are doing and how you are doing it to be able to help you. A copy and paste of the output of the command that was ran in Terminal here would possibly help.

Thanks for the response- I restarted my laptop and it seemed to work fine
