I used terminal once before and it was in utilities. The other day I went to look for it and it wasn't there. I tried searching for it and it still didn't show up. Where did it go? I am using an IMac.

Did you check between the cushions in the couch?;)

I dunno, that's kinda weird. Are you sure you didn't make a typo when you searched for it? If you can't find it anywhere you may have to get it off you system backup disk. When you do, put it in your dock so your don't lose it ;)

My house!
Did you install the BSD Subsystem when doing the Mac OS X installation? If not, then the terminal wouldn't be there. Other things that are install with the BSD Subsystem are Console, Network Utility, FTP, Internet Sharing, Bonjour, etc...

BTW...its iMac, not IMac! ;)
