I set my own prompt colors but are not accurate, somehow the terminal background color influences this.

It is possible to stop it?

Thanks

Hi! I'm not sure if these settings should change each other the way you described. Did you tweak the “.zshrc” file before or went to Terminal preferences to change colors?

I made a custom .zshrc file with my preferred colors, and the terminal background colors & effects changes my prompt colors. You can even see it live if you open the terminal and change background color darkness.

Hyper terminal for ex. uses my custom colors, but still I prefer macOS terminal...

I'm not really sure I understand your issue then. I've never had my terminal background affect my prompt colors.
Do you perhaps have screenshots demonstrating the issue?

Updated the first post with screenshots.

As you can see changing the background color influences somehow the prompt...
