Hello,

Again, thanks for all the previous help.
Old age problems, I guess.

a. Terminology:
The horiz. bar on the very bottom is called the Favorites Bar. Right ?

The horiz. bar on the very top is called the Toolbar. Right ?

b. In the Mail app vertical sidebar, I have two groupings of Folders.
One is under "on my mac" and the other grouping is under "comcast"

Medical issues, and it would really help if I can put the active Mail Trash Folder, or a Shortcut, for
it on the bottom bar. Have spent a lot of time trying, really, but can't find a way.

Is there ? (or as a second choice, to the top bar ?)

Sure is a lot to know.

Thanks again,
Bob

If you are talking about MacOS itself, the bottom bar is called the Dock and the menu bar at the top of the screen is called, umm, the menu bar ;-)
It sounds like you want to put a shortcut to the mail trash in the dock? That is not possible. Why do you need quick access to the mail trash in the first place? Perhaps I’m missing something.

Hi,

Thanks.

Medical issue. Problem with using the sidebar in MAIL.

Would be a lot easier for us if we could put a shortcut, or icon itself for the MAIL Trash
right on the desktop. Perhaps one of the bars ?

BTW: What is the Favorites bar that, I think, I saw mentioned ?

Thanks for help; very appreciated.

Bob

Favourites bar circled there. You may have to enable from the View menu. You can put the trash there if it helps. You cannot put Mail’s trash folder on the dock.
I’m still curious why you need priority access to the trash!?

Hi,

Thanks so much for help.

It's just a matter of old-age, and eyesight problems.

A lot easier for wife to read off of the main screen, at the top like you show.

So, now have it on the Favorites bar, as you showed how to, and everyone happy.

Thanks again; nice of you.

BTW: any way of increasing the font size of the items in this favorites bar ?
That would be a big help also. Font they used see is really small.
I looked, but cannot see any way of doing it. Is there ?

Best regards, and thanks again,
Bob

Happy to help. No direct way to make those bigger, but you can scale up the whole system in the Accessibility settings.
