Hi,
ive had my MBP for nearly 10 months now... i was wondering if this was normal???

I have just calibrated my battery, resetted my SMC and PRAM, and re-installed (from scratch) Mac OS X. I think the reason why cB says that my mac is nerly 467 years old is that ive already had a logic board replaced so maybe thats why it says that.

Any ideas anyone???

Cheers!

Please, do not make your first post suspect. Of course it is not normal. So, what is the purpose of your thread subject line? Your post is asking a question, which is questionably associated battery life. Yet you make a demonstrative claim that MBP's have 'terrible battery life'. What is the association? Most of the forum readers/posters are much less confrontational than I am, especially toward Newbies. However, I get suspicious of a person's motivation when they post a negative assertion, then go sideways with their thread.
