Just re-watched some portions of the event and paid extra attention to the script. My goodness it is nauseating how much Apple loves itself. Everything is super-duper awesome incredible amazing. The script just doesn't feel natural or genuine at all. I skip the portions where Jony Ive starts talking, because that lazy over-pronunciated way he talks is just irritating. They should call this the annual "Apple self-worship" event.
