many people hate them. They just seem to try and hold you up wen you try to find out the info you want.
I agree, many people hate them and generally aren't functional from the visitor's perspective.
After the splash screen the main pages are too wide. I have a bit of horizontal scrolling, which is just plain ugly to me. And there's nothing on that page that requires it to be so wide. Actually I don't think it's suppose to be so wide. There's a thin gray line at the very top that spans 100% width, while the content below is 47px off the left margin, which is why the other side goes off my window. I didn't try to find out what's causing it. You have at least 17 style sheets linked to the site (wholly molly), which is insane for a simple looking site. You should merge some of them so there's less files for the browser to download, and that'll also increase loading times for pages.
You also have around 10 scripts linked and I know not every page needs them all so you should work on that as well. Makes me glad I'm using NoScript for Firefox.
That's a bit off topic though. The image flow looks pretty good (only trying Firefox). It scaled when you resize the browser window, which is nice. It even captures the mouse wheel for browsing through the images, though that was unexpected and caught me off guard. I would make the text at the top take up less room so the image flow can come up higher because if they have a short window they'll have to scroll down to use it. One quirk I did notice is that when you click on the front image and it uses lightbox to display it, the loading image stays in front partially blocking the image.
Thanks for the heads-up guys. I have updated my Ubercart installation to 1.0 RC2, which fixed those errors. I was away for the past week and couldn't fix the issues until now.
