ok so heres my problem im selling my iphone to a friend who lives in LA and he has tmobile is there a way for me to make sure it works without having an actual sim card
thanks

No, not really. You really need a SIM that isn't meant for an iPhone. But if you jailbreaked, unlocked, and activated it, then it should be fine. At worst, as long as it works, your friend in LA might have to jailbreak/unlock/activate it again.

(On the off chance... if you're asking in general if your EDGE iPhone will work with T-Mobile in LA, the answer is yes, irrespective of from where it came, as long as it was jailbreaked and unlocked).

well my friend lets just say doesnt know to much about computers and the problem is that everyone i know either has att, verizon or sprint could i use like an att card to find out if it works?
thanks
