iOS Testing from a 2nd machine

I hope this is the right place.
I test my Apps in my iMac with my iPod touch but sometimes when I am out I want to test the same App with the same iPod touch but from my iBook.

What are the steps I should have to follow?

I have read very carefully Standard Program user guide and I have my "Certificates.p12" file but I don't know what to do with it. Besides, I don't know what to do after double clicking it.

Can any one give a hand here? I am just running out of time, and I need to be able to program anywhere now or I won't do it for the dead line. So my iBook would be the solution.

I don't think you need to anything special. XCode certificates are not bound to a single machine. You should be able to install your certificates the standard way on both machine and be able to use it with XCode without a problem.

In case of that what's the meaning of having the *.p12 file?
In the user guide it says is critical when testing from another machine. Or so.

The standard way means that
I have to request a new certificate from my iBook -> I am afraid this will be the same name as the earlier certificate.
Download and install the certificate in my iBook
Download the provisioning file and put it my iBook
run my project?

Is this ok?

There's documentation on the dev site on how to backup your SDK keychain keys and restore them (to a new machine).

The provision certs, you could just drop on XCode on any machine.
