Phone connects perfectly fine with

Ethernet Adapter (en3)

and initial speeds are up to 4 MB - but then suddenly, mostly after a few minutes, the connection drops.

There's not much one can adjust on the iPhone, I suppose it's a network issue ... Anyone else had the same issue and found a solution?
 
Thanks for the follow-up DPA.

Am tethering on True in Thailand, the one and only legit distributor here of iPhones.

When syncing for the first time with iTunes a special script was downloaded to the phone - so me thought that will solve everything.

Even the menu "Cellular Data Network" is hidden now ... support told me that people don't mess around with the settings ...

GPRS seems to work, but 3G gets knocked out all the time.
