So Cal....
Let me begin by saying that Im a newbie to this whole Tethering thing.....So here goes:

I am limited to my internet usage at work, so needless to say I use my iPhone all day to keep my sanity! and if possible I would love to be able to use my iPhone tether during my lunch hour to do some basic web browsing, and other small things....

Here's my question:

Will there be a difference in data transfer usage if I were to use my iPhone to tether lets say during my lunch hour?

Will the tethering increase my data usage enough for at&t to notice?

Will there be a difference in data transfer usage if I were to use my iPhone to tether lets say during my lunch hour? If you mean will it be slower because of network traffic, that is all dependent on local conditions with ATT. Lots of talkers, more congestion = slower data transfer. Probably not noticeable.

Will the tethering increase my data usage enough for at&t to notice?:confused:Once again, that depends on you. If you are not downloading big files, I doubt they will notice. If you are just surfing the web, definitely not an issue!

Hope that helps a little!
