Not affiliated with Rogers at all, as a matter of fact I've had some issues with them regarding my replacement iPhone, but this is not about that.

Tried tethering my base MBA 11" via bluetooth to my iPhone 4 and I couldn't believe how smooth the experience is. The speed is more than acceptable and battery life on both machines perform excellently, only 4% used after surfing the net for an hour from the iPhone and about the same on the MBA.

And this is all for free if you have a data plan!

Anyway, just couldn't contain my excitement...coming from using only a wifi iPad on the go...my speedy MBA is a blessing. :)

Umm, don't take this the wrong way but this isn't new. Tethering via bluetooth or USB cable with the IP4 isn't special. Sorry to burst your bubble!

Not taking it the wrong way at all. :)

I'm not trying to say it's new but I'm just pointing out how relieved I am to finally have a really portable Mac tethered and on top of that I'm just glad to still not pay extra for tethering.
