This may be a dumb question, but I can't figure it out and I'm curious.

First and foremost you must know that I'm a Mac user. I don't own a windows based machine, but I do have the Windows 7 RC on my mac using bootcamp, and on rare occasions I use a Windows XP machine, so therefore I don't really know my way around certain aspects of windows, such as networking.

Having said that, I've had no problem getting tethering to work in OS X; it works like a charm on both usb and bluetooth. When I boot into Windows 7 on the other hand, I hook my iPhone into the usb cable and enable tethering, I'm lost. I can't for the life of me figure out where to go in windows to set up the tether.

So anybody out there that knows how to set up tethering in windows, could you please give me a detailed enough set of instructions on how to get tethering to work in please?

(Yes, I've looked around a bit and every search I've performed has always lead me to step-by-step guides on how to do it with a jailbroken iPhone, which I don't have)

Sooooooooooooooo, nobody is willing to help me?

C'mon people, I'm sure one of you out there can spare a min or so to let me know how to do this.

if you have itunes set up, it should just work without any issues.

Oh really? So without iTunes being installed it won't work? Guess that could explain why I can't get it to work in Windows 7, I don't have it installed cos all my music is on the Mac OS.
